What A Day It Was

The most beautiful day of the Spring so far, and with 42 strong, Team Sarcoma walked for "life" and to celebrate my wonderful wife and the battles she has fought through. Of course we had the best looking shirts of any team, and I dare to say the largest by 2 or 3. We did have the youngest at 12 weeks, Miss Olivia Walker! After the walk, we had a great party at our house with food, fun, washers and a friendly wiffle ball tourney. Thank you to all of our family and wonderful friends who made this day something very special to the Tricia and myself. We are blessed to have you all in our lives and the generosity you all showed was humbling to say the least. We will be posting at a later date, thanking those that made financial contributions to Tricia's fund raising efforts. She alone raised over $2300 for the Wellness Community of St. Louis. Below are some of the pictures of the day. Enjoy!

Hi, I'm a sarcoma survivor and would like to congratulate you on your walk! My friend Rachel, another sarcoma survivor, was there hosting; I hope you met her. She is quite the woman!

Did you know that there is an international Team Sarcoma Initiative going on this July? Events are planned by individuals and organizations all over the world during the same week. Your Team Sarcoma shirts would come in really handy if you were to have a sarcoma awareness gathering that week! You can learn more about it here.

What a beautiful day it was. It is so great seeing the walk grow in numbers every year. Words can't express how we feel each time another year goes by and our precious daughter is still cancer free. It truly is a miracle from God. Having our whole family together along with so many friends and supporters is awesome. As Tricia's mom and dad we just want to thank everyone for their love and support.
