First day of the rest of our lives

Today is here! Finally! We woke up this morning at oh, 3:30 a.m. Yep, couldn't sleep. Last night we had dinner at lemon grass with Rich and Jackie (another Holt family) and it was exactly what we needed. Great conversation at a beautiful resturant that sits 14 stories high and we can overlook the Saigon Center. It was amazing.
Hank and I are all gussied up and awaiting for 6:45 to get here. We will try and stomach some breakfast and calm the nerves. We are preparing for Sophie to be a total wreck. We know she will be very sad to leave her foster Mom, but we are hoping she will take to us sooner than later. So, the next post will be from Hanoi... with our lovey!
Chio,

Today is the beginning of the rest of your life! Enjoy it! Soak it in! You both deserve everything that God has brought to you! Sophie will understand in time that YOU are her Mommy and Poppa and are her forever family.

Hello Belz Family! It has been very fun to follow the news and events with Sophie. Hank, I think we need to give Sophie a new middle name . . . "Crombeen." He scored a hat trick for her tonight and the Blues have a nice winning streak going.

We are so happy for both of you and we can't wait for you all to get back to the LOU. Be safe and keep the updates coming.
